Annual Activities
Byron Capital Markets’ Annual Charitable Trading Day
At least annually, Byron Capital Markets will hold a charitable trading day where all commission fees earned from trading on behalf of Byron’s institutional clients will be donated to a charity. Byron’s first charitable trading day occurred on December 1st, 2009 where $38,000 was donated to BOOST for Kids Foundation. Byron’s second charitable trading day occurred on December 6th, 2010 where $50,000 was donated to BOOST for Kids Foundation’s “Bring Kids a Christmas” program in Toronto and $25,000 to Cause We Care Foundation in Vancouver. Byron’s next charitable trading day is expected to occur in December 2011. Details about this event will be made available here and sent to clients in advance of the event.
Bay Street for BOOST Cocktail Reception
Byron Capital Markets was the initiating sponsor of the first annual Bay Street for BOOST Cocktail Reception which occurred on October 13, 2010. $75,000 was raised from this event for the BOOST for Kids Foundation to support BOOST Child Abuse Prevention & Intervention.
